Kelly has graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Certificate in Creative Writing from The Writers Studio, and completed its follow-up adjunct Manuscript Program. Recently, she took her words to the big screen with Sometimes She Smiles, a short film which had its premier at the Victoria Film Festival in February, 2019.
Kelly just completed her new documentary My Mother My Rock, which details the extraordinary events surrounding her mother's passing. It is scheduled to air on APTN and CBC after making the film festival circut.
